Hey you. Yeah, you. I realize this may not seem believable, since you probably think that I don't know you. Perhaps we've never met, but maybe I know you more than you think. Either way I'm writing this to you. Since I haven't had a good opportunity to before, I want to let you know that you're special. You are awesome, you are amazing, you are great, you are wonderful, you are beautiful and I love you. I don't love you just because of what you do or how you look, I love you for who you are. I wish that I could love you the way you're worth to being loved, the way you long to be loved, because I realize that you may well not experience that kind of love in your life. And you are worth it! Understand this kind of love isn't an emotion; it's not the same as "being in love." Love means that I try to seek what's best for you, and to put you and your needs ahead of my own. Don't sell yourself short, too many people do and end up emptier and lonelier, with too much guilt and regret.

I know who you are on the inside, you are wonderful and beautiful. "Heh, you obviously don't know me" you might say, "You don't know how I look, you don't know what I've done, you don't know what I think." I know you've been beaten and abused, I know you've gotten down and played in the mud; I see you're covered now. But I see through. I also know that somewhere deep inside you know there's supposed to be something more and you long for it. You long for the reason, the person, the chance to be your best, all you were meant to be. But you don't believe. You can't believe there's any reason, any person, any chance for you.

I've known a lot of people and I know a lot of things that people have done and/or are doing. Truly it really is some messed up stuff (stronger language is actually appropriate, but I shall refrain for the time being). Yet there is hope for everyone. I won't tell you it'll be easy, or that there's nothing in the way. Indeed the whole world may be against you, but there's still hope. You have the potential to become greater than you can imagine. Seriously. Don't you know that you are a princess? You have a vital part to play in this story, one which no one else can play except you, and it's a matter of the greatest importance, indeed of life and death.

Don't you know that when the now honored Jesus Christ was on the earth, he spent most of his time with thieves, whores and other very ordinary people. He didn't spend his time with people who were "important", and he had little but harsh words for those who acted like they had it all together. Don't you think he understood something, saw things as they actually are?

You may think that you're not worth much of anything, at least at this point. You may think that you don't deserve anything good, anything more than what you are experiencing. You may think that you don't deserved to be loved by someone that great. Well, that may be true but you know what? The truth is I don't deserved to be loved either, but you are definitely worth it! This love doesn't depend on you being perfect, I don't expect that. True I may have been hurt even deeply by many of the things which you've done, but love is greater.

Know that you are loved and that you are great, not because you are perfect but because you are special and have been destined to play a vital part in this world. Whether you've done everything wrong or everything right, you are loved and worthwhile. So remember this and don't sell yourself for less!
