poem to a little flower
Out in the wilderness where the sky is blue,
where the clouds come out to play for a few.
Where the grass is green and the trees are tall,
and where the animals romp in the beauty of it all.
There is a little flower who stands alone,
but the one over all makes her at home.
He sends the rain down from the sky,
then wipes a tear falling from her eye.
The sun shines down on everyone,
and warms our hearts with lots of fun.
He gives us light to make us grow,
so we'll be strong when we meet the foe.
So, smile child, keep your head up high,
when we're feeling down, He'll draw nigh.
Stand up tall on the grassy plain,
for soon there will be no more pain.
Out in the wilderness where the sky is blue,
That's where I go when I think of you.
